Mazur Capital is a financial technology company building Orca, a private-market platform designed to make private-company investment opportunities more accessible, liquid, and transparent. Orca aims to create a new way for investors to gain economic exposure to private companies, discover opportunities beyond public markets, and participate in a market that has historically been difficult to access and navigate.
At its core, Orca is being developed to bring elements investors expect from modern public markets such as accessibility, price discovery, liquidity, market data, and an intuitive trading experience to the private-market ecosystem. Mazur Capital’s long-term vision is to build the infrastructure through which private companies, investors, and capital can interact more efficiently without requiring companies to become publicly traded.
Powering Orca is Dawn1, Mazur Capital’s proprietary economic simulation and intelligence engine. Dawn1 acts as the underlying modeling and risk infrastructure for Orca, simulating companies, investors, transactions, liquidity, market conditions, and economic shocks across synthetic financial environments. These simulations allow Mazur Capital to develop, test, and stress-test Orca’s market infrastructure before applying those systems to real-world markets.

Mazur Capital is led by Ethan Mazur, its founder and CEO. Since its inception, the company’s vision has evolved significantly, with each stage of development bringing greater focus and a more defined purpose. What began as a broad concept for financial technology and market intelligence has progressively developed into a focused mission: building new infrastructure for accessing and participating in private markets.
Today, Mazur Capital is centered around Orca, its flagship private-market platform, with the company’s technology, research, and long-term strategy increasingly aligned around making private-market opportunities more accessible, liquid, and transparent. Ethan is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, where he continues to develop Mazur Capital alongside his studies. As the company progresses, his focus remains on transforming Mazur Capital from an early financial technology concept into a focused private-markets company with the potential to build meaningful financial infrastructure.
